Description
Oil separation units are used to remove waste oils in wastewater.
Suspended oils and solids can be floated by introducing air through diffusers placed inside the tank. Floated by air oil trap systems are called DAF. Oil separation efficiency is higher than classical systems.
Microbubble generators are used as air sources in oil trap systems, where micron-sized air bubbles are introduced into the tank as the wastewater enters. Compared to classical DAF systems, very high efficiency can be achieved due to the ability to transfer smaller sized air bubbles to the wastewater more intensively.
Tank material can be preferred as carbon steel, epoxy painted or stainless steel. The parts in contact with the liquid in the scraper system can be made of specially produced plastic or stainless material.
